Aaand we're back!
Woooo, lights came on not too long ago. A day earlier than expected! Hot damn! Six days without power is killer.
Nonetheless, thank you all for being supportive and worried about me. Means a lot. Now we just have to get food back into our fridges. They're supposed to be releasing food stamps for the effected people. We're gonna get fooooood. Good food too. Healthiness. <3
Now we just have to worry about Hurricane Ike..

I know I haven't posted here in a while. It'll change. I'll update soon!
Anyway, many of you guys know I live in Louisiana. Well. I wouldn't be surprised if the freakin' eye is gonna pass over me. Well, my town at least. I don't live too far from New Orleans.
Needless to say, Gustav could very well become a category 5 before it hits land. The projected path that's been issued currently is extremely thin, directly over Louisiana. They're rather sure it's gonna hit us. Hell, I'M sure it's going to hit us.
I'm not evacuating or anything. We'll be fine where we are. But...well, if it hits where everyone is expecting it to hit, New Orleans will once again be underwater.
Anyway, I may be gone for.. well, a few days after Monday. I have a feeling that our electricity is gonna shut off for a good while. We have quite a few trees in my neighborhood.
But on the bright side, it gives me time to focus on drawing. *Hugs his flashlight.*
See you guys soon!

Thanks for everyone in their support during my Wii downtime. I have now purchased a new Wii, and the person who has my Wii has agreed to my terms of sending me money instead of shipping it back, since he hasn't gotten the chance to.
My new friends code is: 5880 1891 7196 1358
My Super Smash Bros. Brawl code is: 3007 8447 3783

So, like, I haven't updated in a while again. Shame on me.
I got a job. I'm now a customer representative at Blockbuster. Not only that, but not even six days into it, I'm offered a promotion. I've shown interest in it, and the store manager told me he'd talk to me about it later. It's understandable that they need a four-star CSR, considering the things that needs to be done and the only thing they have there are managers. Four managers, and now four other newly-hired CSR's, myself included. From the other three, I'm the only one that has really been dependable. While I've made a few errors, I've also never left early yet, never missed a day yet, and have filled in spots when they needed someone. While the other three have, one even on the verge of being fired considering she was smarting off to the managers.
So yes, I do hope that I get the promotion. I think I've certainly pushed myself quite hard with just the few weeks I've been there. Got over-time hours on my second week of training and am now expecting the same for my third week, which was my first out of training.
Blockbuster is a really nice place to work (save for Friday and Saturday evenings--I'm sure you can imagine a rental place at those times.) It's pretty take-it-easy.. and I'm good at organizing things and alphabetizing stuff and such as and such and maps.. and.. US Americans.. and.. yeah.
I get five free rentals a week, be it a game or movie, if they're not new releases. I also get 20% off candy and drinks, and 10% off other merchandise. Weee. I also pre-ordered Smash Bros. Brawl there.
Brawl! Piiiit. Omggggg. <3 And Lucario. And Wolf! It's like, wow. My main focus is Pit, though. Kid Icarus is my faaaavorite video game of all time. I'mma whup ALL YER ASSES. OOO: They've also seemed to add something in the games that they haven't in the previous ones. The characters didn't really acknowledge each other in the previous Smash games.. but in this one, they're actually seeing the character as someone, as a friend or rival. And I really hope I get to hear talking, and not just in the taunts.
But yes, I seriously hope Nintendo is making a Kid Icarus game for the Wii. He definitely deserves a new title, rather than stopping at the NES. And it seems that Pit talks in his taunts. I sincerely hope that his voice fits him. I can't wait to hear it.
Anyway, what else.. umm..
Trying to trade my DS Lite in at Gamestop for a Black and Blue one, but they don't have any at the moment, so bleh. Ah well. I might go ahead and sell my DS on eBay or something so I can get more money that it'd be worth at GameStop. Hrm.
On another note, if anyone has a Neopets account they don't use anymore, gimme yer neopoints an items! O:
Yeeeee.

Woooow. It's been a few months since I posted last. Hrm. Oh well, just made it in for the new year, I suppose. I've moved back to Louisiana, perhaps to go to LSU or something soon. I dunno what I'm going to do yet, and I don't have much time to choose. Ah well.
Put my application in at Video USA and the library again, hopefully I get a call back. I've gotten a bit better with talking to people, so I probably will be able to get the job more easily. Bleeh. I got my R4 Revolution a while ago. Best purchase gaming-wise I ever made. Can hold 2 GBs of ROMs on it. I'm working on The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass right now. Next, 'm probably gonna go for Life Signs: Surgical Unit. I reeaally wish they'd hurry up and bring out the new Ace Attorney game. D: Sooooner than February 19th. Siiigh. Oh well. Also getting my Wii modded. Sent it off to a friend, should be getting it back in the next week.
Anywaaay.. uuuuh.. yeah. There really hasn't been that much happening. Drawing more, got back into RO, reading His Dark Materials... I'm being annoyed constantly by my cousins and grandmother, but otherwise it doesn't feel any different from the three months I was gone.
This year sucked, though. Glad it's over. Hopefully '08 will be better.

Sooooo, I'm in Georgia. Savannah, Georgia. Jovee and Blair are wonderful and the house is beautiful. And.. and.. the neighborhood is nice too. And.. like.. there's a lot of shopping centers so near to this place. It's crazy good~.
I wasn't as sad as I thought I'd be when my mom left. I did cry a bit, but hey. It's tough to leave people you've lived with for all your life. I'm glad I'm here, though. I really think I'm going to like it here. <3

Well, this is my final post from Louisiana. I'm finally on my way to a better place, a better environment, and a better life. Though, the only bad thing is that I'm probably not going to be able to go to SCAD this year due to financial problems. However, I'm going to take at least one class somewhere to say I'm in school for continuing the child support until February. Yay.
However, I've pretty much got a job as an artist. I'm going to be drawing my ass off, but I'm going to be making around $800 a month, which is great since it's a bit more than what I'm actually going to use for rent, food, transportation and such, if my estimates are right. That, and it'll build up my skill tremendously. So, I think this is better than me going to SCAD this year, since my art really isn't where I want it to be. I need to work with what I have before I start taking in more stuff, hm?
I'm almost completely done packing, which is good, since we're leaving in the afternoon tomorrow. I went to see a few of my high school teachers today, and they all wished me luck and hugged me, which can make any person feel good. :3 Tomorrow, before we leave, I'm going to pay a special visit to the one teacher who touched my life more than any other: my 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Pamela Burnett. She's a wonderful woman, and I hope she recognizes me whenever I come. x3
But nonetheless, yes, I'm very happy. I can already feel myself becoming more.. I dunno, positive? So many good things have happened in the past few weeks. I'm working my way to my dream, getting closer with each step I take, and everything is falling into place.
Oh, and I got Rune Factory. Yay. <3
Talk to ya'll when I get in Georiga!

[05 Aug 2007|07:27pm] |
So like, my move date got pushed back to the 17th. My mom wants a bit more time to spend before I make my move, and I can't really blame her. We haven't done anything too special as of yet. So Jovee, Blair, I'll be leaving the 16th and I'll be there on the 17th, most likely. It also gives me a bit more time to scrounge up some money. x3;
It's only a week more, so I don't mind very much. I just hope this doesn't clash with anything else. :/

| SELLING Pokémon Merchandise! |
[03 Aug 2007|09:12pm] |
SO! I'm going to be moving to Georgia in 7 days to go to SCAD. Any help with this would be wonderful.
I've got a lot of Pokémon merchandise I'm about to sell, and I was wondering if any o fyou wanna buy any of it.
I've got this huge Pokéball that you can set marbles in. I've got 144 marbles with it (ones with Pokémon on it). The thing can hold around 250 of them. I have a Charizard marble shooter as well, and I have a few bags for marbles, and a marble mat. O:
I also have this Pokémon Cyclone 2 thing that has 48 POG-like things with it with random Pokemon on them, has a barcode at the bottom. It's a game, so it reads the barcodes at the bottom, and I guess they battle. xD
Additionally, I have two electronic Pokédex...es. One is for the little figures you can battle with if you have a stadium (it has small connectors at the bottom of the figures) and the other just has information on all the original 151 Pokemon. I'll throw in an Ash that you can put those figures on as well.
I just want to get rid of all this. xD
So, if you're interested, yeah. If not, I'm putting it all on eBay.
...Oh yeah, I also have, like, a huge bag of mint cards, from base to the sets with the e-reader bars on them. There's about 1730 cards, and there's all rarities. Common, uncommon, and rares, and there are quite a few holos in it. Think of it as a huge booster pack. O:
I can take pics if needed.

Graaah. I think I punctured my eardrum.
After my bath yesterday, I was cleaning my ear with a Q-tip. I pushed the Q-tip upward quite far, cause I couldn't hear all that well. Might've been the water, but I suddenly heard and felt a slight pop like when pressure is being relieved and a ringing started. Well, I can barely hear now, as if water is indeed clogged in my ear, but the ringing has continued since yesterday.
If I did puncture it, it shouldn't be that large of a hole, but I dunno. I can still hear out of it, but I'm a bit worried. I'm going to wait a few days to see if it heals.. but I might need to go to a doctor. :/

Woo, Order of the Phoenix was awesomeness. Well worth waiting for. What's even more surprising, that there wasn't that many people in the theatre. And even better, it was nearly completely quiet through the entire showing! There was, of course, laughter at the amusing parts. There was about two kids in there. I was really surprised. But anyway, yes, it was quite nice. I love how they intertwine the amusement. I am a bit saddened that they didn't do more with Kreacher. He was interesting in the book. :<
But anyway, next thing looking forward to is the Deathly Hallows! The great Harry Potter series shall come to an end in eight days! I still think Snape is going to be killed while protecting Harry. And that Harry is going to stay alive. Even though I like Snape. Yep. It's obvious that he's going to die protecting Harry, though. Mhm.
OBJECTION! I've discovered the wondrous series that is Ace Attourney: Phoenix Wright. Unfortunately, I played Justice for All first, because I couldn't find the first one. But I did recently, and I'm seriously in love with this game. It's one of the best I've played, and I've played quite a few games. I mean, the suspense, the surprises, the twists, the turnabouts! It's all great! And you have to really think about some things they throw at ya! You have to pay attention and actually think. I love this game, and I'm definitely looking forward to the third installment. Though.. I'm a bit upset they're taking Mr. Wright out as the main character for the fourth. Meeeh. He was put through a lot, though, as a defense attorney. Mmm, and Franziska von Karma is sexy.
Anyway, next! SCAD! I've gotten my award money and financial aid, and I'm actually getting over $7,500 a year that I don't have to pay back, for now. That's quite a bit of money, in my opinion, and takes care of a lot. I'll still have a hell of a lot to pay back, but hey, if I actually make it in a career with the education I'm going into, then that won't be a problem. But nonetheless, I have four years to think about it and develop my abilities.
I'm honestly looking forward to moving in with Jovee and Blair. Most know that I'm living with my grandmother, my mother, and two little cousins of 10 and 11. I'm living in Hell right now. Almost literally. My two cousins are like little demons, and one of them ENJOYS annoying the living crap out of me. The other one is becoming a lot more mature, I must say. She still has a long way to go, but it's showing. She's rebellious, though. But she doesn't bother me. But still, my grandmother and my cousin of 10 is not, NOT a good pair. My grandmother takes up for her all the time, and when I tell my cousin off, I get jumped on. Um, no. Not going to take that. So I get into arguments with her often. But I'm finally going to be out of this shit hole of a state and into one that's a lot more.. well, lively. It's going to be great, I know it.
I've got so many good things to look forward to at the moment. My spirits are high, and there's not much that could bring me down. I've gained great friends, I've been given great opportunities, and I'm doing all I can to get where I promised myself I'd be so many years ago. The first steps of my future are being taken. I'm going to get there. And nothing is going to stop me.

SO! Real update time. After a good month and some days.
I've drawn a lot in the past few days in preparation for SCAD. I'll be drawin' more of course, cause I still have about two months until I move. That's right, I be movin' in with jovee and blairkanine come August 10th. Hoohaaa. Will be a lot of fun, and my first taste of big-city life. Well, living in it, anyway. I live only about 60 miles from New Orleans, after all. It's really exciting how I'm finally going to be doing what I've always wanted to do, and that's learn about art. Hell, I'm going to a college that's all about it. It's going to be a first for everything. It's quite a big step for me, and I never thought I'd be doing something like this. Hell, in ninth and tenth grade, I was dead-set on going to Louisiana State University (LSU). But I never gave the thought of going somewhere else, even out of state. I know my mother will be really sad, but I have to go. It really is something that about two years ago, I never thought of doing.
I've been on a real Pokémon kick thanks to Diamond and Pearl. I watched all the movies from 5 to 9 in Japanese, and I look forward to watching the 10th when it comes out (Sarah Brightman <3). I really want to watch the entire series of Pokémon, now.. in Japanese, of course. I don't think I could handle the dubs. Heheh. I used to watch Pokémon every day when I was like, eleven or twelve. I never thought I'd be back into it six or seven years later. Heh. And 18-year-old liking Pokémon? What? ;O After having watched the movies, there's a lot of things that could probably only be explained through watching the series. I'm pissed that Misty's gone and Brock's still there. I knew that she was gone already, but it still agitates me. >/ I'm sure a lot would disagree, but I liked Misty. And they replaced her with a little kid with glasses. Wtf.
Anyway, yep. Been watching One Piece, too. Omgwtf. This is like, the best anime I've ever seen. And I don't know if I talked about it before, but I'm on episode 134. I mean, if you haven't watched it, go do it now. I swear, I've never seen such an inspiring anime. And yeah, yeah, I know. I sound like all the other fanbois and girls. I JUST got into this thing a few months ago. And wow. I seriously am sad that I didn't get into it sooner. The plot is wonderful, and the characters are loveable. It's really, really great. I thought it was going to be stupid, honestly. But I was hooked by the first episode. Yep.
Uuuh... I've gotten incredibly bored with WoW again. I swear, it phases in and out. I'm into RO and DII again. Got a close friend playin' with me. But I think Battle.net blocked my IP for using an "unauthorized CD-key". LOL. Oh well. I still have IP games, which is all I need, really. And I'm in Legend RO for anyone who wants to know. 'Oy, happytama, if you wanna play with CT and me again, just hollaaaar. If you still check LJ or somethin'...yep.
Ayaih. Off to draw or listen to music or something.
Can't wait to go to SCAD. I really can't.
You don't need a shooting star. The magic's right there in your heart. Close your eyes, believe, and make a wish.
They really have some good songs on those movies. <3

| CD-Key needed! |
[18 Jun 2007|11:30pm] |
Okay, I need some help. Ya see, I need a CD key. A CD key for an old game. I need a CD Key for Diablo II. If anyone's willing to give me their's if they don't play anymore, I'd be very, very obliged. I lost mine a while back, and I've gotten the urge to play again. I have the key to Lord of Destruction, but not for the game itself. :<
So, if anyone would hand me theirs if they don't use it anymore, I'd be a very happy wuff. E-mail me at tachikiba*nospam*@gmail.com if you do have one to give! Thanks!
Remove the *nospam* of course.

Okay, so. One of the biggest scares of my life happened tonight.
I was goin' to get me somethin' from Wal-Mart and something to eat as well, and was on my way to Wal-Mart. I saw that I only had enough money to go get something to eat, so I decided to turn. I was about to turn in a turn lane, but I thought it was only to make a U-Turn, and not to go down the street I wanted to go down, but you could go down that street with that turn lane. So instead, I go to make a U-turn farther up at one of the U-turn paths. However, someone did the same thing, too. That kind of weirded me out, but it must've been a common mistake, I thought. So I made the U-turn and got into the next turn lane to turn down the originial street I wanted to go down. The person behind me does, too. That kinda made me nervous and I accidentally turned into a bad neighborhood. The guy behind me turned too. So I was thinking, "Fuck, he just followed me into a bad neighborhood. Double whammy, there."
So I keep driving with my horrible sense of direction and suddenly run into a black guy when I stop at a stop sign. He was drinking something (in a brown paper bag), so I could only think it was alcohol. He asks me to turn on a (dead end) street nearby, but I turn the other way and run into three MORE black guys, and the guy that was following me had suddenly come up beside me. So by now, I was pretty much shaking I was so scared, my heart was pounding. I immediately put it into reverse, and turn on another street in the neighborhood. They didn't follow, but it was a dead end. I turned around and the black guy that was drinking tried to get me to stop me again, but I didn't even stop at the stop sign this time. I went back the way I came and simply went back on the highway and no one was following me after.
I've swear, I've never been so scared in my life. I knew that the neighborhood was bad when I saw the street sign, but I thought I could get out of it quickly. So, moral of this entry: don't turn somewhere you don't know, even if you see someone's following you.
That, and I think my iPod is on the fritz...
Man...
